China, 1913, Lot of 2 bonds, Includes £20, £100 Pounds Sterling, Issued and uncancelled, both with 43 coupons attached, Black on blue or brown border and underprint with allegorical Mercury sitting on power generator with ships on top with rice harvesting on left and house on hill by shoreline on right, printed in English,, Russian, German and French. The 100 Pound bond was issued by the Deutsche-Asiatische Bank and the 20 pound bond was issued by Banque De L'Indo-Chine a Paris. Fine+ to VF condition. Attractive and scarce bonds. W&S. (2)
