Text states "Seventeen Months....(without any days of grace) the Government of the Republic of Chili promises to pay to_____or order against surrender of this Treasury Bill the sum of Five Thousand Pounds for value received....London, 15th March, 1895. (Due in August, 1896) Payable at Mess.rs N.M.Rothschild & Sons, London". AU condition with light mounting remnants on back left counterfoil area. BWC. Possibly circulated as a circulating bond since it is payable to bearer and is small format.
