Shreveport, Louisiana. March 1st, 1863, $1000, 8%, Cr#62F, Issued and
uncancelled, Black on beige thin paper, pelican feeding young at top, S/N
3467, Text states "An Act to raise Money for the State Treasury;" approved
January 23, 1862, Appears VF but there are splits at folds that could be
reinforced as well as ink burn under the date at the bottom right. Signed
by Thomas O. Moore as Governor and also Henry W. Allen, Governor from
1864-65 on the back of the bond, thus having two governors signatures
making even rarer. Heritage sold a similar previously mounted example 2007
