China, Lot of 4 notes, Includes 1923 National Commercial Bank, Ltd., "Shanghai" Branch Issue, 1 Yuan, P-573a S/M#C22-1a, Issued, Black on m/c, mandarin at right, S/N 10820, Crisp VF to Choice VF with tape remnants on the top back left and right border; 1924 National Industrial Bank of China, "Shanghai" Branch Issue, 1 Yuan, P-525a S/M#C291-1c, Issued, brown on m/c, horse at left, back brown with Great Wall, S/N 017076, VF to Choice VF with stamp hinges on the top left and right face that can be removed easily; 1921 China & South Sea Bank, Ltd., "Shanghai" Branch Issue with "Chairman" overprint, 1 Yuan, P-121a S/M#C295-1a, Issued, Green on m/c, S/N AM688321, Crisp VF to Choice VF with tape remnants on the top left and right border with a rough lower left edge; and 1920 Commercial Bank of China, 1 Yuan, P-1a S/M#C293-40, Black on m/c, Worthy at center, back green with supporting lions, S/N A222301 with letter "H" on face and back, Choice XF to AU with 2 pin holes on the top right corner and tape remnants on the top left and right margin on the face. All 4 of these notes are the Plate notes from Pogrebetsky's personal reference collection and are the photographed plate notes from his rare Chinese banknote book published in Harbin in 1929.
