Washington, D.C., U.S Liberty  Loan Bond of  1932-1947, issued in 1917. Serial number: 696381. This bonds as well as the subsequent series funded 2/ 3rds  of the economic cost of the United States War effort. Bond Grades VF with 3 small rusty spots in middle vertical fold. Statue of Liberty on right and Jefferson on left on front, a majestic American Bald Eagle and "Columbia" on the reverse. Includes 43 coupons of 2 sheets of 20 each and one piece of 3 coupons, but all are unattached from the bond. Bond would frame beautifully. BEP
