1830-1850's. 4 different proofs printed on india paper and mounted on manila cards with plate numbers on vignettes and cards. Printers include UBS&H (1), TC&Co. (1) and BC&Co.(2). All are medium sized vignettes between 1.5 and 2.5 inches each. 1). Ornate "V" with allegorical woman with sword and scales with ship and factory in background; 2). Ornate "V" with 3 allegorical woman surrounding "V"; 3). 2 cherubic figures in romantic embrace. Micro printing on bottom left has initials of UBS&H as engravers; 4). 5 cherubic angels with wings are hanging onto a very ornate "V". All vignettes in VF to choice condition. Rare group.
