Specimen overprints and POC's, VF-XF condition, ABNC. The American Beet Sugar Company, owned by the Oxnard family and based in Denver, was one of the first sugar beet producers, having been formed in 1899. Through the early decades of the 20th century, American Beet developed into a six-plant operation over three states: Colorado, California, and Nebraska.
