France, April 19th, 1919. Interesting World War II Movement Order from the American Expeditionary Forces Y.M.C.A., directing the bearer, L.W. Newell, to proceed to Paris. The motive appears to read "On Leave" in challenging handwriting. Signed by the Divisional Director and the Director General of the A.E.F. Y.M.C.A. Fine condition with pronounced fold lines and damaged lower margins. The American Expeditionary Forces was a formation of the United States Army on the Western Front of World War I.
