Austin, Texas. 1911 (reissued 1933), $1000, Specimen 1st Mortgage, 5% Gold bond. Black with green border and underprint. Inter-urban train on top. Two different clauses printed in red on bond vertically, one of the clauses changes the date of interest and principal payment of the bond and the main clause states that the "Gold Bond" is now payable in any currency or coin that is "Legal Tender" at the time and not gold. XF condition. Red specimen overprints, POC's and "00000" serial numbers. Coupons attached, Rare certificate with extremely rare "Gold Standard" elimination clause. ABNC. Unlisted railroad in Cox and fist time offered with "Gold" clause.
