Austria, 1917-23. Lot of 250+ issued Austrian Notgeld notes mounted in a period album, representing a wide range of municipal emergency issues. Cities include Windischgarsten, Steyr, Linz, Wels, Enns, Freistadt, KremsmÙnster, Kirchdorf, Grein, GmÙnd, Bad Ischl, Zell, Ratzersdorf, Andorf, Altenmarkt, Frankenfels, Haag, Hohenberg, Gaming, Waidhofen, and others, with numerous complete and partial denomination sets and multiple design types per town. The collection is particularly strong in Upper Austria material, with additional Alpine and Lower Austrian issues present. Notes are affixed to album pages using corner mounts, forming a well-organized and visually impressive holding. Condition ranges VF to AU overall, with typical album toning, edge wear to pages, and occasional handling consistent with mounted storage. (250+). Sold "AS IS" no returns accepted.
