Austria, 1914-1920s. Large lot of 85+ issued and unissued items consisting primarily of Austrian WWI-era ration and identification documents alongside a selection of German and Austrian Notgeld notes. Includes numerous Wien-issued “Milchkarte,” “Brotbezugskarte,” “Fettkarte,” “Zuckerzusatzkarte,” and related food ration cards, many filled out with manuscript entries, stamps, and official markings, as well as Ausweis identification papers, postal forms, and administrative documents. Accompanied by a mixed group of Notgeld from various towns, featuring denominations such as Heller, Kronen, and Mark issues, with a range of designs and municipalities represented. Majority of material dates from World War I through the early 1920s period, reflecting civilian rationing systems and emergency currency usage in Central Europe.
