Sold "AS IS" no returns accepted. The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad (B&O), founded in 1827, was the first U.S. common carrier railroad, playing a key role in American railroad expansion. It connected Baltimore with the Midwest and was known for innovations like the first U.S. passenger train and the telegraph system. The B&O merged with the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway in 1963 and later became part of CSX Transportation in the 1980s.
