Letter with English translation. Madrid, Spain. April 18th, 1890. One page letter on Banco De Espana letterhead with blue ABNC receiving handstamp. Letter is written in Spanish with translation written on second sheet of attached paper. Signed by Governor, Salvador H.Albacete. The letter thanks mentions a telegram for ABNC offering banknote printing services to Banco De Espana due to reports of widespread counterfeiting of a previous non-ABNC printed series of notes. The Governor thanks them, but says the reports are over exaggerated and they will not need any additional banknotes and thanks them for the offer. Rare internal correspondence between ABNC and Banco De Espana. ABNC.
