Letter with English translation and additional related correspondence. Madrid, Spain. July 17th, 1891. One page letter on Banco De Espana, Madrid, letterhead with blue ABNC receiving handstamp. Letter is written in Spanish with translation written on second sheet of attached paper referring to a telegram sent by ABNC to Banco Espana the week before (with a copy of the telegram). Signed by Subgovernor, Manual Ciudad. The telegram offers to send a delegation to Spain to discuss a proposal to furnish more banknote printing for the bank. The response thanks ABNC but tells them they are not interested at this time. Rare and historic internal correspondence between ABNC and Banco De Espana. ABNC.
