Lot of 2 letters with English translation. 1). Madrid, Spain. December 24, 1885. One page letter on Banco De Espana embossed letterhead with blue ABNC receiving handstamp. Letter is written in Spanish with translation written on second sheet of attached paper. Signed by Sub-Governor, Manual Ciudad. The letter mentions that ABNC will be shipping the balance of the banknote order of Banco De Espana and that the bank will pay on receipt of the banknotes, based on Clause 12 of the contract between ABNC and the bank, 8,000 Pounds Sterling. The banknotes being delivered are the 1884, First Issue, P-24 to P-28, 25 Pesetas to 1000 Pesetas printed by ABNC; 2). January 20th, 1885. Letter from Banco De Espana's representative in London to ABNC acknowledging the receipt of the ABNC's draft from the bank for the 8,000 Pounds Sterling.
