Philippines, May 22, 1998, 100,000 Piso, P-190a, Issued banknote to commemorate the Centennial of the First Republic 1898-1998. Green, Yellow and Brown, large format, President F.V. Ramos being greeted by crowd, bank seal at right, S/N GS 0120, Almost the size of the Ming Dynasty note (P-AA10), Gem Uncirculated with large margins, Kalayaan Centennial Seal on face and back, security foil with holograms on note, the note is encased in a clear case that is screwed shut in the corners, the note is placed in a decorative velvet box of the Philippine colors blue and red with the seal of the Central Bank seen on the inside of the top of the box. The accompanying certificate, signed by the Governor, Gabriel C. Singson, states there were only 1000 made, with most of these given to diplomats, amazing note that is rarely offered at auction. We expect this note to attract significant attention.
