Ottawa. Canada. 1935. $25. 2 different cut down LDP's and original artwork of border text and denomination of this rare issue. 1). Compound LDP of face denomination and text below the portrait vignettes of the French and English versions. Text states in English "Twenty-Fifth Anniversary of the Accession of H.M.King George V" and "Twenty-Five Dollars" below. The French version is below the English version on the same proof. Red circular handstamp "Canadian Bank Note Co. Ltd. - Mar. 13, 1935 - Ottawa" on back; 2). Compound proof of back denomination text found beneath Windsor Castle vignette. Both English and French versions are present. Text states " Windsor Castle - Twenty-Five Dollars" on the English version with the French version below. Also with similar red stamp on back; 3). Model or mockup of "25" numeral found next to the vignette on face of note. Additional archival and production notations present related to changing the size of the numeral vignette. All in XF condition. Unique in archive. Rare proofs from this historic issue. CBNC
