Ottawa, Canada, 1991, $20, P-97tp, BC-58bPE (also described as BC-58exp), pp 85/84, "Printers Essay - Experimental" DuraNote Polymer paper test banknote, Printed on DuraNote polymer plastic paper substitute, the obverse, with Queen Elizabeth II at the right, and the reverse are completely printed and Pin-punched SPECIMEN. The reverse also has the normal design and color with the "Common Loon" swimming duck on a lake with trees in the background. B. Bonin | G.G. Thiessen signatures, Gem Uncirculated Condition. This essay note was part of a project by Mobil Oil for testing petroleum based hydrocarbon polymer paper for printing banknotes.
