China. 1914. P-33 to P-35B Unlisted. 3 different vignette proofs printed on india paper and mounted to manila file envelope. All have vignette portraits of Yuan Shih-Kai, President of China. There are 2 with the same portrait but one has a square border and the other has a round border (as used on the banknotes) and the third vignette is of a different portrait and the title "Salt Industrial Bank" which is unlisted in the SCWPM. Choice condition. Rare vignettes from a rare banknote issue that was never released and only known as a remainder. Rare vignette. ABNC.
