Hamilton. 3 different letters from the Bank of Hamilton on the banks letterhead. 1). 28th July, 1888. Letter from bank Cashier, James Turnbull, requesting ABNC to give them "lowest prices for printing 150,000 to 250,000 notes" and that he knows that The Dominion Bank and the Bank of Toronto use notes printed by ABNC. Letter is signed by him; 2). 28th July, 1888. Letter from bank Assistant Cashier, H.J.Stevens, requesting prices and new design for $1,000,000 in $5 banknotes. He states "We may be induced to change the entire issue". Signed by Stevens on bottom; 3). 14th November, 1891. Letter from Turnbull regretting that they cannot give ABNC a new banknote order. Also included is a small worksheet used for figuring amounts of note needed and the internal ABNC list of correspondence from this bank. VF to XF condition.
