Port Jervis, Orange County, New York, 18xx, (1857), $3, Plate A, (NY-2250-G10a), Proof only issue, Small imprint “Patented June 2nd, 1857” on bottom, Black on full orange lathework underprint with white outlined “3 3”in middle, oval portrait of man on left below NY Registration, sitting and standing cows and sheep in middle and happy sailor on right, small POC's but one of the middle POC's had a pull and an internal piece was removed, ABN overprint on back in purple-red with almost no bleed through, at first appearance the note is Gem Uncirculated with the POC noted, extremely attractive with full color undertint, BC.
