Sing Sing, Westchester County, New York,18xx (ca. 1850's), $5-$20-$50-$100, demand notes, $5, Plate C; $20, Plate H; $50, Plate A; $100, Plate A, (NY-2580-G8a,G12a,G14a,G16a), All are listed as Proof Only, Black and white proofs with red underprint protectors printed on india paper, $5, reaper holding sheaves on lower left, large steamboat passing train on top middle with ships in background, State Seal on right, large red Lazy “5” in middle; $20, Oval male portrait on LL, locomotive through cut under bridge passing telegraph lines in middle with State seal on right, red “XX” in middle bottom; $50, Oval male portrait of man in military uniform on LR , attractive portrait of 3 allegorical women, reaper, seamstress and woman with anchor in middle with State seal at left, red vertical “50” to left center; $100, Unique vignette of Croton dam on top L & LC, Young woman in RC and New York State Registration seal bottom right, red “100” in middle, all with small POC's in signature blocks, ABN overprints on back in purple-red with almost no bleed through, The $5 note has 2 small pin holes o the top left and the $50 has a light diagonal crease across the whole note, the $20 and $100 are in exceptional condition and would grade Choice to Gem Uncirculated, Rare and very attractive proof sheet.
