Bermuda, 1975. First Day Cover commemorating the Royal Visit of Q60ueen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip to Bermuda in February 1975, featuring a Proof Bermuda Twenty-Five Dollar commemorative coin mounted within the official illustrated cover alongside the Royal Visit postage stamp cancelled “Hamilton, Bermuda, Feb 17, 1975 – First Day of Issue.” The reverse includes the printed Certificate of Authenticity from the Bermuda Monetary Authority confirming the coin and stamp issue for the Royal Visit commemorative release. The coin is struck in sterling silver (.925 fineness) with proof surfaces. The coin weighs approximately 42 grams, giving an actual silver weight (ASW) of approximately 38.85 grams (1.249 troy oz). The item remains housed in its original commemorative postal cover with certificate panel on the reverse.
