1949. P-Unlisted. Security Banknote Company production file for proposed 1949 issue. 1) Photo essays of proposed designs of 9 different notes from 5 Bolivianos to 10,000 Bolivianos. Photos or blueprint copies of hand drawn essay notes were cut down to banknote size and pasted back to back as issued notes. Pencil notations are added with measurements or the name of the vignette to be added. Unique in archive. 2) Photo proofs of proposed designs of 9 different fronts from 5 Bolivianos to 10,000 Bolivianos. These notes were full banknote sized photographed models using the original previous outline designs. 3) 5 Bolivianos front proof of border in brown with title and denomination and back title and denomination in black, both LDP's. 4) Compound Bolivianos proof of border in black with title and denomination, LDP. 5) Compound proof of Bolivar vignette portrait in 2 different sizes and a single LDP of a Bolivar vignette. 6) Miscellaneous undertint and cycloid proofs used in the design and production of these notes. 7) 22 small and large photos used in the design of the notes. 8) 2 large sized photographs to be used on banknote vignettes with measurements and also additional wash paint added to alter the scene. 9) Miscellaneous production material and correspondence (6 items).
