Boston, Massachusetts, 1867, An order on 23 March 1867 for Ò$51Ó of 10c stamps, Ò$55Ó of 25c stamps and Ò$50Ó of 50c stamps placed by the Boston and Providence RR Co. with the $156 face value delivered for just $150 with the 4% commission break on larger purchases, Signed by Postmaster John Palfrey on the back side and with a 2c Washington revenue tax stamp affixed and cancelled on the front side, Also includes list of number of stamps per sheet depending on denomination and face value of sheets from 210 stamps for 1 and 2 cent stamps down to 54 stamps for the $20 stamp Sheet, VF condition aside from small ink erosion area at top plus a couple of tiny edge breaks, Unusual piece of philatelic related ephemera.
