Washington, D.C....... Lot of 29 Large Size BEP printed Intaglio proof Banknote Souvenir Cards, all held within a white binder and held individually within plastic protectors. Highlights include: American Numismatic Association, 1972, 81st Anniversary Convention Souvenir Card featuring an engraved replica of the $2 Silver Certificate of Series 1896; American Numismatic Association, 1994, Unified Masterpieces Souvenir Card featuring $10 Silver Certificate, intended to be issued as Series 1899, but the design of a battleship was changed to a buffalo due to the input of then-Vice President Theodore Roosevelt; International Paper Money Show, 2001 Souvenir Card featuring the $5 Treasury Note (also known a Coin Note), issued to pay for silver bullion purchased by the Treasury; and American Numismatic Association, 2002 Souvenir Card featuring a $2 Treasury Note with a small portrait of George Washington, engraved by G.F.C. Smillie and based on a Gilbert Stuart painting; and many other notes and essay designs. All in Uncirculated condition. "SOLD AS IS" No returns accepted.(29)
