ND (ca.1909-1930). Specimen stock certificate. Odd Shares. Green border. XF condition but small 1/2 inch tear on top left margin. Pin punch "Cancelled" and red Not to be removed from file ontop right. Vignette of redwood forest with road through it. The LRRCo. operated four geared and two rod engines on approximately 18 miles of train track. In 1930, the LRRCo. purchased the Humbolt & Northern Railway (which ran from Cole's Landing on Humboldt Bay's North Spit to Fieldbrook) from the Dolbeer & Carson Lumber Co. Lumbering--California--Humboldt County. The LRRCo. started operation of a sawmill at Crannell in 1909. Along with the sawmill they built a company town, an attractive community of well painted houses with good roads. Interesting lumber company and railroad company. SBNC. 2 stocks found, both different in color. Unique.
