Denver, Colorado..., early 1900s. Lot of 2 items, includes: William R. Mygatt, Investment Banker, Specimen Draft and a color Denver souvenir postcard. The draft is drawn on Chase National Bank, New York, printed by American Bank Note Co., New York, and features an engraved elk vignette at left with ornate green border and bold typography. Red “SPECIMEN” overprint and punch cancellation holes present, with serial number 00000, indicating printer’s sample status. Accompanied by a period “Gold and Silver Denver” postcard depicting the Colorado State Capitol and cityscape, with descriptive verse on reverse. A visually appealing Colorado banking and ephemera pairing combining early Denver financial history and promotional material. Condition ranges from Fine to Very Fine overall, with light toning, minor edge wear, and typical handling. (2). Sold “AS IS” no returns accepted.
