Canada, 1935. Bank of Canada, 10 Dollars, P-44s, BC-7S, Specimen Banknote, Ottawa issue of 1935, English text only, Black on purple underprint with Portrait of Princess Mary at left, Back is purple with Harvest seated at center, Note is printed in English, Red Specimen overprints, S/N A0000000 pp A, PMG graded Choice Uncirculated 64, with 3 large and one ample margin, as well as a bright fresh appearance, this lovely note certainly deserves and EPQ or Gem EPQ designation and is a superior example for the grade, printed by the British American Bank Note Company, Ottawa. This rare note represents another important and highly collectible example from the first Bank of Canada issue marking the transition from chartered bank notes to a centralized national currency system in 1935.
