Lot of 3 notes in 1/2 of sheet of 6. Montreal, Canada. 1837. Includes 7 1/2 Pence; 15 Pence and 2 Shilling 6 Pence notes with denominations in Canadian, French and American denominations. All have variation of train vignette in middle and Spanish coins on left. 3 large margins on top, left and bottom with right margin cut close to where other side of sheet was removed. Notes appear in AU to Unc. condition. Attractive early Railroad scrip notes that were issued during the financial panic of 1837. RWH.
