Troy, New York, March 1, 1859, $5, Plate A, ABN Monogram, Similar to NY-2685-G8a, SENC, but with different date and missing micro Fives, Unlisted variety in Haxby, Black on full green lathework underprint with white outlined “FIVE” in middle on india paper, Oval portrait of man on top left, Sheep herder on horseback with cow and sheep with young man in foreground, resting dog on right, small POC's but the 2 on the left had been pulled and paper is missing on both, ABN overprint on back in purple-red with moderate bleed through in middle and minor stain on lower left that can only be seen from the back, appears Choice Uncirculated with noted faults, Attractive full color note, BC, (Bellaire Collection)
