Memphis, Tennessee. Lot of 4 notes (uncut sheet of 4) of black printing without underprint and another sheet of the underprint in green without black text, border or vignette, Originally printed in 1866-67 (ca.1960-70's), $5-5-10-20, (Haxby Unlisted), Modern "Proprietary Proofs". The $5 proofs have ornate dock scene with cotton bale loaded steamboats, barrels and workers on top middle, standing allegorical women on left with flag; The $10 note has locomotive at station on top left with Tennessee arms on lower right; The $20 note has portrait of military man in uniform flanked by allegorical female holding sheaves on left and blacksmith on right, Black printing without underprint printed on white paper of text, title and vignette and a second sheet of only the green underprints, Uncirculated condition.
