Lot of 4 Documents Pertaining to George Thompson and his service during the Civil War, Includes: 1866 Form No. 5 for a George Thompson from Stafford Connecticut in 1866 for information on bounty for White or Colored Troops from 1 to 3 year enlistments with Thompson's signature; Included is Additional Discharge for Additional Bounty with reason of discharge was "Termination of War"; and letter from Ezra B French, who was appointed Second Auditor of the Treasury August 3, 1861, by President Abraham Lincoln, and continued during the administrations of Presidents Andrew Johnson, Ulysses S. Grant, and Rutherford B. Hayes. Also included is the envelope documents were enclosed in. Documents are in VF to XF condition. (4). Sold "AS IS" no returns accepted
