1860-1890's. 6 different Civil War naval vignettes of battle scenes and gun boats used on documents, checks, drafts, banknotes (possibly) and other items. Includes the following naval vignettes: "Monitor & Merrimac" fighting; "Monitor at Sea"; Mortar Boats (2); "The Gunboats" fighting each other and "Gunboats" at sea. All are printed on india paper and mounted on manila cards. Scarce group of impressive Civil War Naval scenes. Condition appears Choice for all except that 2 have ink notations on the upper left corners. ABNC, CBNC, NBNC.
