Group of 18 original French postcards related to early aircraft from World War I. Featured aircraft include the Farman MF.11, which was used as a reconnaissance and light bomber during the Great War, as well as the F.60 Goliath which was instrumental in the creation of airlines and commercial routes in Europe following the war. The lot also includes postcards of scenes and figures, such as Captain Ferdinand Ferber, who was a French Army officer who played an important role in the development of aviation. All are in VF condition and have never been mailed.
