Ohio, 1903. 2 pieces: Brief note written on Columbus Zoological Company letterhead, black text with tiger at top center, regards the mailing of stock certificates for a Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Jones, sent by J. W. Brown. Fine condition with some splitting along horizontal lines; Also included is a corresponding envelope cover, black text, with same tiger image at left, Columbus, Ohio stamp and red 2 cent postage stamp at top right corner. Fine condition with damage to margins, a large tear at right, and some staining. The Columbus Zoological Company established one of the first zoos in Columbus, known as "The Zoo", that failed after only five months in 1905.
