Australia, ND (ca.1954-59), 10 Pounds, P-32s, Specimen Banknote, Black on red underprint, Governor Arthur Philip at left, Back is orange with symbols of science and industry, S/N WA/11 000013, Front and back overprinted in Red double lined diagonal Specimens, 80mm long and 16mm high, H.C. Coombs and R.Wilson signatures, Title on left “Governor, Commonwealth Bank of Australia”, Watermarked with portrait facing right on right side, 1 punch hole cancel on upper left border, The note has been folded vertically 3 times dividing the note into 4 even sections that is very difficult to view due to possible light pressing of the note and there is a very small 1/16th inch tear into the left side margin close to the punched out cancel, otherwise the note is extremely well centered with large even margins and sharp corners, firm, crisp paper, bright colors and overall fresh appearance. Extremely rare note in any condition and a trophy for any Australia collector. Unpriced as specimen in SCWPM.
