NV. 1989. 3 different certificates. Production file for Common Stock with odd shs, blue. 1). Proof on yellow paper of odd shs, Common stock, blue. Vignette of seated allegorical man with globe. Very rare in this form. Printed by SCBNC. 2). Proof on white paper of same certificate with color separations. Vignette, title and text proof on white paper without border and matching blue border without text, vignette and title. Very rare in this form. Printed by SCBNC. 3). Specimen of a different design certificate used as a mockup-model with pieces cut out and others added with allegorical female seated on left. Printed by Jeffries BNC. 4) Specimen of Marion Laboratories stock certificate. This company has no relation to CSC other than the same type of vignette. Evidently used as a sample for the vignettes. 5). Miscellaneous correspondence and production material. (7 pieces). In April 1959 Roy Nutt and Fletcher Jones pooled $100 to start a company that they named Computer Sciences Corporation. By 1963, CSC was the largest software company with revenues close to $4 million. In the early 1970's, CSC created an innovative computer time-sharing network in association with the Department of Defense called Infonet.
