Document granting power of attorney from Henry Watkins to Thomas Smith & John Wright, Bankers in London. 275 Pounds, part of an interest or share in the Capital or Joint Stock of 3% Annuities "erected by an Act of Parliament" in the Reign of King George III. Signed and notarized by a Notary Public, along with Watkins and another witness. Fine condition with some toning and fragile fold lines, still in incredible condition considering its age. Watkins was a former Lieutenant & Quarter Master in the North Lincolnshire Militia.
