Germany, Lot of 2 pieces, Includes: Conversion Office for German Foreign Debts, 1936, $1000 I/U 3% Dollar Coupon Bond, Black text in English and German, orange border and underprint, Allegorical man and woman at top center. Lot also includes a 1934 Jewish Conversion Note, Nazi issued for confiscated property from Jews leaving Germany in 1934. Never redeemed or intended to be redeemed. Fleeing Jews pinned notes inside their garments to prevent theft, and these notes are always seen with pinholes. Historical piece with a high catalog value, P-211. (2)
