Cuba, 1922 to 1925. Lot of 4 Specimen Stock or Bond Certificates, Includes: 1922, $1000, Baragua Sugar Company; 1922, $500, Ermita Sugar Company; ND (ca.1910-20), 100 Shares, Punta Alegre Sugar Company; and,1925, Odd Shares, Andrés Gomez Mena Sugar Company. These were significant players in the sugar industry during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Each company operated extensive sugarcane plantations and mills, contributing to the region's status as a leading sugar producer. Baragua and Ermita were known for cultivating high-quality sugarcane and processing it into refined sugar, while Punta Alegre was recognized for its innovative production methods. Andrés Gomez Mena specialized in efficient cultivation and processing, enhancing the quality of sugar produced.
