Lot of 2 Issued Banknotes, Includes: Theresienstadt Ghetto 100 Kronen, CZ-656, SB707, 1943, Brown with Jewish star at bottom left corner, the obverse of the note shows Moses holding the 10 commandments, Signed by Jacob Edelstein (he was a Czechoslovak Zionist, social democrat and the first Jewish Elder in the Theresienstadt ghetto. He was murdered in Auschwitz-Birkenau), S/N J 021892, PMG graded Uncirculated 62 with comment "Thinning."; and, Lager Westerbork Gutschein, 100 Cents Scrip Note for Westerbork WWII Camp, 1944, Black and brown text on green underprint, Series BB, S/N 4542. Camp Westerbork, also known as Westerbork transit camp, was a Nazi transit camp in the province of Drenthe in the Northeastern Netherlands, during World War II. It was located in the municipality of Westerbork, current-day Midden-Drenthe. Camp Westerbork was used as a staging location for sending Jews to concentration camps elsewhere. (2).
