Washington D.C., 1923. Lot of 2 items. Includes: Intaglio printed program for the Ninth Biennial Banquet of the International Association of Siderographers, held at the Rathskeller, Washington, D.C., September 1, 1923, featuring engraved vignettes of the White House and U.S. Capitol on the covers together with the matching printed invitation card, decorated with an early siderography press vignette in brown. Both items show light toning and edge wear but remain attractive and historically significant examples of early 20th century union and engraving-related ephemera tied to the craft of steel plate engraving and U.S. currency production.
