Washington D.C., 1937. Lot of 2 items. Includes: 1937 Intaglio printed program for the Fifteenth Biennial Banquet of the International Association of Siderographers, held at the Hamilton Hotel, Washington, D.C., September 1937, addressed to officers, delegates, and membership at large. Together with a matching intaglio printed invitation card dated 1957, featuring an early vignette of a siderography press in orange and black. Both items show light handling and mild toning, overall Choice AU to Uncirculated condition. A excellent example of mid-20th century union and engraving-related ephemera tied to the historic craft of steel plate engraving for U.S. currency and security printing. (2).
