Delaware, 1976-77. Lot of 6 I/C Stock Certificates for Various Share Amounts, All have POCs and are in VF to XF condition. (6). United Technologies Corporation traces its origins to the United Aircraft and Transport Corporation, the 1929 aviation combine that united Boeing, Pratt & Whitney, Sikorsky, Hamilton Standard, and United Air Lines under one roof. When federal legislation forced the breakup of the combine in 1934, its eastern manufacturing operations continued as United Aircraft Corporation, which built Pratt & Whitney engines and Sikorsky aircraft through the Second World War and the postwar decades. The company adopted the United Technologies name in 1975 and diversified beyond aerospace, acquiring Otis Elevator in 1976 and Carrier in 1979. In 2020, UTC merged with the Raytheon Company to form Raytheon Technologies, now RTX Corporation.
