New York. Lot of 2 items, both are Invoices for various printing services and engraving products from the Danforth, Wright & Co. Bank Note Engravers. One is dated 1854 and issued to a Columbus, Ohio bank, Fine condition with toning and slight damage to the margins; the other is dated 1858 and issued to the Merchants Bank in Paterson, New Jersey, and includes a steel plate, Fine-VF condition. Both have black text with black handwriting, and feature the same letterhead with Benjamin Franklin's portrait at top center. This was one of the last letterheads of the company before beginning the merger that would form the American Bank Note Company. (2)
