East Africa, Lot of 5 notes, All are issued and dated 31st of March, 1953, all with Queen Elizabeth II on right, back with lion, Includes 5 Shillings, P-33, blue-black on chestnut brown, Choice VF condition with original paper that is crisp and firm, bright colors, sharp corners and attractive for grade; 10 Shillings, P-34, blue-black on lime green, Choice VF condition to almost XF condition with deep embossing, original paper, bright colors, sharp corners with a slight red mark on the top; 20 Shillings, P-35, blue-black on yellow and orange underprint, Choice Fine condition; and, 100 Shillings, P-36, blue black on green and lilac, Choice VF condition XF condition depending on how conservative you are, firm paper, sharp corners, deep embossing, large even margins and bright colors only enhance this amazing note that looks uncirculated at first glance.
