Eastern Bank of Alabama Uncut Sheet of 4 Proofs.Eufaula, Alabama. Lot of 4 notes (uncut sheet of 4), 1860 (ca.1970's), $1-1-2-3, (AL-15-G2a; AL-15-G4a; AL-15-G6a;) Modern “Proprietary Proofs”. Black without underprints, The $1 proofs have a large cotton boll on the left, eagle on right and man and boy at dock in middle; the $2 note has girl on left, allegorical liberty and eagle in middle and man on right; the $3 has slave with cotton on lower left, famous “Sweet Potato Dinner in middle and Franklin on lower right. Notches on upper and lower margins for printing registration. Choice to Gem Uncirculated condition. ABNC. Archival “Proprietary” proofs rarely seen in sheet form.
