Consisting of two loose leaf binders of with sleeves holding unique photographs of the Edison workers, cyano-types of Sampson ore from 1889, a sample of the first filament used in the light bulbs, lab instructions, and a variety of other material. Herbert Read was an employee of Edison’s and he had access to many things which never went farther than the workrooms. This collection is unique, and likely not available in the market place. This lot is offered with an original charcoal drawing of Edison, framed, 15x13 as well. This material should be seen; an important group.
