Black on red underprint with vignette of allegorical woman "Harvest" on right and watch dog with safe, key and bags of money on left. Back is orange-red with Mexico arms. Red specimen overprint, POC and "00000" serial numbers. Counterfoil on left. Text on circulating bond states "El Erario del Estado conforme a su Ley de Presupuestos pagara al portador - Diez Pesos - en plata del cuno Mexicano". AU+ to Uncirculated condition. ABNC. Rare, attractive and a prize for any collector of trophy Mexican banknotes. The first example sold for $3,737 with the Buyer's Premium in our second auction in October, 2007.
